Marsha, Speaker
Professional Speaker
Marsha began her professional speaking career in 2009. Her first speaking engagement outside of the church was speaking to a military audience about suicide. Marsha recalls that in 2009, we were at war and several men and women serving our country were coming back home (to the states) and committing suicide. There was a noticeable pattern of people committing suicide and Marsha was able to educate Commanders on what new symptoms to look for when soldiers came back from war.
Marsha enjoys speaking about wellness, depression, family systems, and substance abuse awareness. She is fulfilled by educating others on these topics. Her ideal audience are women that are in mid-life crisis dealing with work and home issues, while trying to maintain work-life balance. Her goals as a speaker are to give people hope. Marsha wants to be that person to allow others to lift their heads up no matter what they may be going through in life.
“It’s not just about being on stage, but it’s also about connecting with your audience, providing them a service.”
Marsha’s service is to give hope and help people get connected to their north star. Her goal is to leave her audience with resources to know what they can do next. Marsha helps with those next steps. She believes that you have to direct people somewhere, and she loves to help people feel empowered, encouraged and motivated by being an inspiration to them.
Marsha’s mission is to support people in identifying the root cause to their conflicts and help to create the resilience to master them. With this mission, Marsha has become a Dynamic Speaker in her field taking her talents to the stage to speak on mental health topics. She articulates these topics in a manner that all ages and walks of life can relate to.

“I’m Funny, But I’m Serious.”
Marsha’s gift is bringing a lighter side of mental health to her audiences. She realizes the heaviness mental health topics tend to bring and decided to educate and encourage by adding a little bit of laughter to her mental health topics. The audience gravitates to her genuine wit and engages in the conversation with her. But…don’t let her funny side get in the way of her knowledge of mental health topics, she is truly an expert in the field of mental health.
