Self-Care in a Closet. You heard me right, let’s talk about self-care!

This is a mental health moment with your Professional Sista. 

If you have a closet then you may have an opportunity for a 30-minute paradise while you are home. This Covid-19 situation seems like it will be around for a while. So, we have to find creative ways to get personal time away from our partners and children. A closet can really be an asset right now; you can create a space in your home to recharge your battery. A closet can be your own personal space to get some down time or just relax in between work and managing your house. You can paint your closet to have amazing color and build your closet around your personal needs through Covid-19.  Do you have dreams of going to the beach or just being out in nature? Well, all you need is a closet and some paint! 

Your closet can be your own oasis for self-care. A cozy chair where you add a comfy throw, aroma diffusers and some good music to rejuvenate yourself in just 30-minutes.  Use this time to relax, breath, absorb positivity and allow the aroma to reduce any stress. Okay, you may not have a large enough closet, but I hope you are open minded to finding ways to stay recharged.
